I have an aunt who is overweight. She always buys shoes and purses for herself because a purse always fits.
My son has quite a collection of hats. It is a great accessory that does not need to be adapted to allow for his feeding tube. And of course we don't want him to feel different than his siblings. So my kids all have lots of hats. If you come for a visit and come in through the mud room, be prepared to see lots and lots of hats. Because a hat always fits.
